Question by scarlet: Is there a way to research how much a vehicle sold for at auction?
I am looking at different vehicles being sold at a dealership. Some of them are trade-ins but others were bought at auction (according to carfax). Is there any way I can look up how much was paid for a specific vehicle, say using the VIN? That information has to be somewhere. I just am trying to get some more leverage in buying a car, ’cause it’s not a very fun experience. Thanks!
